Why is Earth our home?

We live, play, and breathe on Earth. Its air, water, trees, and animals are our friends. But sometimes people throw litter on streets, in parks, and in forests. Litter pollutes the soil and water and harms animals.

Imagine someone enters your room and throws paper, plastic bottles, and bags everywhere. Would you like it? Of course not! The Earth is our big home — keeping it clean is our responsibility.

Small steps — big impact

• Throw litter into the bin, not on the ground.
• Be gentle with nature: don’t break branches or harm plants.
• Save resources: don’t waste water; turn off lights when not needed.
• Plant trees and don’t pick flowers; protect and care for them.
• Be kind to animals and never destroy their homes.

Eco habits at home

Create a “green habits” list with your family: use cloth bags, reduce plastic, sort paper and glass for recycling. Every good habit makes the Earth a little happier.

Remember: a clean Earth means happy children! Each time you recycle or save energy, you help keep our planet healthy. Protect the Earth — because it truly is our home.
