☀️ The Sun and the Solar System
At the center of our Solar System is the Sun — it gives us light and warmth. Around it, eight planets orbit, each unique, colorful, and fascinating.
🪐 Meet the planets
- Mercury — closest to the Sun. Daytime temperatures can reach about 400°C, but nights are freezing. 🌞❄️
- Venus — bright and beautiful, covered by thick clouds; not a place for life. ☁️
- Earth — our home! 🌍 Air, water, plants, animals, and people live here.
- Mars — the Red Planet. Scientists study whether life ever existed there. Maybe one day we’ll fly to Mars! 🚀
- Jupiter — the largest planet! 🌪️ Its Great Red Spot is a giant storm.
- Saturn — famous for its rings, made of ice and rock. 💍
- Uranus — very cold, blue-green, and spins on its side. ❄️
- Neptune — the farthest planet; extremely windy and deep blue. 🌬️
🌌 How do planets move?
All planets orbit the Sun. They also spin on their own axis — that’s how we get day and night.
🚀 Can we travel to space?
Yes! Humans have already visited the Moon, and astronauts live and work on space stations. Scientists plan future missions to Mars. Who knows — maybe you’ll be the first kid astronaut! 🌠
💫 Fun facts
- There are over 200 moons in the Solar System! 🌕
- Saturn’s rings are made of ice crystals and rocky pieces.
- The Sun is so huge that about one million Earths could fit inside it! 🌞
- On Mars stands Olympus Mons — a volcano roughly three times taller than Everest! 🏔️
