Why did he lie? Even he didn’t know. One day his mother realized he was growing too fast. The hare grew day by day.
His mother took him to the doctor: “Soon my child will grow as big as a wolf and may be eaten by wild animals. Please prescribe medicine.”
The doctor knew the hare was a liar — so he prescribed *fake medicines* and told him that the medicine would only work if the hare stopped lying. If he lied again, the medicine would lose effect. His mother returned home hopeful.
From that day onward, the Hare stopped lying to everyone, because he feared his lies would grow as large as an elephant.
