Introduction
Once upon a time, there was a little hedgehog named Nuk. He loved walking through the forest with his tiny paws and sharp quills. Nuk enjoyed exploring every corner of the woods and discovering new things every day.
The mighty roar
One sunny morning, Nuk heard a roar louder than anything he had ever heard before! The trees shook, and the birds flew away in surprise.
“Who made that sound?” wondered Nuk curiously, and followed the noise deeper into the forest.
Meeting the Lion
Under a large tree, Nuk saw a huge animal with golden fur and a thick mane around his face. The creature looked powerful, yet calm.
“Hello,” said Nuk softly. “Who are you?”
“I’m the Lion, the King of the Forest,” replied the big animal proudly. “I’m strong and brave, and my roar is louder than anyone’s!”
What it means to be a king
“Why are you the king?” asked Nuk curiously.
The Lion smiled. “Because I’m big and strong. My sharp teeth help me eat, my roar warns others of danger, and my family — called a pride — always works together.”
Small but important
“That sounds important,” said Nuk. “But I’m just a small hedgehog.”
The Lion replied kindly: “You’re important too! Your spikes protect you from danger. You eat insects that harm trees and help the forest grow healthy. Without you, the forest wouldn’t be the same.”
Every creature matters
Nuk smiled. “I didn’t know I was that important!”
The Lion nodded. “Every animal in the forest is special — big or small, we all help nature in our own way.”
