The Baby Pigeon

The mother pigeon was teaching her chick to fly. The chick was still very small, its wings were weak, and it could not flap properly. Failing to stay in the air, it fell to the ground and got hurt. The poor chick lay still, chirping pitifully.

The mother pigeon was very worried. She flew over her chick, chirping loudly, not knowing how to help.

Just then, a girl passing by picked up the chick, placed it in a wooden box, and set the box on a tree branch.

Every day, the mother pigeon brought food and fed her chick. Soon the little bird began to recover, chirping happily and flapping its stronger wings.

One day, an old cat wanted to eat the chick. It quietly climbed the tree and waited by the box. But at that moment, the Baby Pigeon spread its wings and flew, flapping bravely in front of the cat. The cat jumped at it, but the chick swiftly flew higher. The cat missed and fell heavily to the ground.

In a short time, the Baby Pigeon fully recovered, and the mother pigeon took it back to their nest.
